Earlier this week, Kia presented its new Vision Meta Turismo concept to celebrate the company’s 80-year history.
The concept car features the typical futuristic look intended to demonstrate Kia’s vision “for a new era of mobility.” According to the Korean manufacturer, its design is inspired by GT cars from the 1960s.
Kia has not yet released technical specifications, but it is clearly an electric vehicle that promises “dynamic driving performance.”

On the outside, the design is highly stylized and angular, with thin light strips at both ends. Although the teasers suggested a five-door hatchback, the Vision Meta Turismo does not appear to feature a rear door or even a traditional trunk.
Inside, Kia stated that its goal was to create a living room–like environment. The dashboard features a D-shaped steering wheel with square buttons positioned in front of a small rectangular display.

Further back, the instrument panel is a projection rather than a conventional screen. Additionally, the projected head-up display (HUD) extends all the way to the passenger seat.
Elsewhere, the driver’s armrest ends in a joystick resembling a pistol grip, presumably incorporating various controls such as a drive-mode selector.

Despite early assumptions that the car might be a new Stinger, there is no confirmation from the brand that this is the case.
Kia stated that more information about the concept will be revealed soon, but the company has not confirmed that the model will enter production.
It is worth noting that if the Vision Meta Turismo does indeed reach the production stage, it is expected to undergo some design changes to improve functionality.
